hi all

i've tried this with OCA. but when i try to connect with sqlplus using username/pwd@odbc:dsn name it tells me illegal operation performed and i've close the application.

can anybody help me.

SQLPLUS doesn't use ODBC. You need to configure Net8 which adds a tns alias to your tnsnames.ora file in $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin directory.

sqlplus username/pwd@tnsalias
