Hi,
I get an ORA-03113 error msg while installing Oracle
817 personal edition, for Win NT .
Msg text is "end of file on communication channel"
My installation context is as follows :
Thinkpad laptop with NT4 ;
Installation performed "offline" (I mean , without beeing connected to the network)
(I successfully performed the same install , but while
beeing connected , but my conern is to get an offline
database to work with on my laptop, disconnected)
so , my question is :
- Basically, is it possible to install and use this personal edition without any network connection ?
I tried to cope with that by myself for a couple of days -- without success... I'm still a newbee in Oracle
admin.
Support will be greatly appreciated , so thanks in
advance for your support !
