Dear all,
We're currently using 9.0.1.0 for our production database, on RedHat 7.1. The size of the s000 process grows (and I see growth in both SGA and PGA) steadily even when nobody is using the system (1am - 6am), and when people start to using it, it grows even faster. When reach about 1.6G (within 24 hrs) it start to throw ORA-04030 errors. We have to restart it twice a day just to get rid of the errors.
The linux box have 2G of memory and plenty of swap spaces. I would like to know some ways of figuring out what happens inside Oracle at midnight and see if there's any possible memory leakage.
Upgrading OS/Oracle is not an option. At least for now.
Any help would be grateful. Thanks.
Ken
