Friends,

Has any one use the the table compress feature of Oracle 9i ?

Any insights on this is appreciated. How it works, do we need to uncompress it while querying or updating ? or uncompress it while doing load refreshes ? or can we used the compressed tables like any other normal table ?

Thanks

From what I know, it can save space and increase performance. Best to search on asktom.oracle.com - there is some good info there.
