Hi,

I want to find out which are the top 10 long running queries in databaseusing dictionary tables or views. Is there some way I can identify without using tools?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

i offer a shareware tool called top100 that can be used to gather the information you need. you can freely use top100 for 30 days without registration and might want to have a look at it.
basically the tool offers the information available in the v$sql and v$sqltext views that offer most of the information you need to identify the most resource consuming sql statements.
