Hi,
I have faced a hanging problem with Oracle Name server 8.1.7. No users were able to connect to database. I tried to telnet namserver port (1575) but that was not happening. I restarted the name server services and it started working. There were no error logs in Oracle and OS side. Need to know any bugs or any known problems with this. This is running on Solaris 8 with patch 108528-15.
