I had installed oracle9i on a server, now i tried installing Developer 6i with oracle 8 client, it asked me to change the oracle home, now i am unable to connect to 9i, what is the solution

What exactly is the problem?
Post the complete error message.
now, 9i and 8i are in same machine.
Both use different home and different tnsnames.ora.
So update the changes to the tnsnams.ora and try again.
