Hello, I'd like to resize (make smaller) the temp tablespace which results in
ORA-03279 : there are data above the resize Value

How can the temp tablespace be made smaller. Just started the database, no other actions were performed.

I tried to administer with the Enterprise Manager of the DB 9

the usual way you do before.
But with 9i less pain..
You can create a second temp tablespace TEMP2.
set it as default
drop the old temp tablespace temp1 ( your required size).
