Hi all,

How can one archive old data in a schema when many tables in the schema do not contain date field.
We are using Oracle 9iR2 on Sun
Thanks

Hi,

You obviously cannot, unless you can join with tables with date columns!

Best would be to add date columns and start populating them. That will enable you to archive the data in future.

Best regards.

Frank,

Could you elaborate little bit more here, please? You need a date field in each table or schema to archive?

Thanks,
pat
