Dear sir

I want to know ,whether we can multiplex our archived
redo log files on remote machine..currently mutliplexing of redo log file is done on the same HDD but on different drives..can we do it on different machines.....like one destination is on one machine and
other on another machine ...if yes the how ..???

I can think of two options -

1. Mount a remote file system and archive to it as if it is local (NFS or something)

2. Use data guard technology to archive to a remove standby site (you don't have to apply the logs).

Hi,

It cannot be done from enterprise manager.

Anyway, this is a discussion forum and not a free on-line consultancy. If you want to implement it, read the manuals or pay for someone to come and do it for you.
