Hi,
I am the systems admin of a college which has 59 client licences of Oracle for Windows NT. But not even 50 systems are connecting to the server. How can I rectify the problem. If I want to increase the possible number of connections, how can I do that.
Thank you
Praveen

Hi,
The Oracle software does not enforce licensing rules
and will not prevent you from connecting more users.
However, you are morally obliged to contact Oracle
when you exceed your agreed usage.
Best regards.

Thats true, however you might want to check out the LICENSE_SESSIONS_WARNING parameter in your spfile. A zero value indicates that concurrent usage (session) licensing is not enforced. If you set this parameter to a nonzero number it will inforce license limits.
