hi

I can't import from upper vertion of oracle database(9i) to lower vertion(8) . I get this error : IMP-00069

so I want to copy a user with all of its objetcs(tables,views,...) from a database with ver9i to another database with ver 8 . what must I do?

Use the lower version of exp and imp to do this.
POST THE COMPLETE error message with a snapshot of session.

Export from oracle8i and then import it ...that should work .. (You might want to setup a TNS for this and then export using that...exp user@tnsnames ..... )
