Hi Everyone,

I have an Oracle 9i RDBMS server install on my Solaris machine. I want to determine if the installed version of Oracle is a 32 or 64 bit version of Oracle.

How can you find out? Is there a reference in the Oracle dictionary, or some file on the system that tells us?

Thanks ... IA

what cpu do you have 32 bit or 64 bit
you can't install 64 bit oracle on 32 bit machines
try this

file <oracle_binary>
or
file <oracle_installer>

that should give you idea

Thanks
