hi,

when I want to connect to database I get this error:

Ora-01034:oracle not available.

when I start DB with svrmgrl , my problem solved,

but when I restart windows I have problem, yet.

note: I can't stop and start the oracleserviceSID in services in control panel(it shows that service in start mode), I must use svrmgrl manually.

Hi

your database has to be started when ever you restart your system and regarding the service it will always display Started mode when ever u restart the system.

if you want your database should start automatically whenever you restart the system the let me know on which O/S your database is running Because you need to change some system parameters

Regards

Hi

where you have set that parameter..?

if you want to start DB at booting time then that parameter should be specify in windows registry then only it will start the instance as well database, otherwise it will start only instance.

set the parameters in registry

Thanks and Regards
