I have a 9i database running on Solaris. If i do a Time based recover (say 5:21 pm yesterday) , then at that given point of time sum of the transactions may not be commited so wat will b the status of my database after recovery....
(A) Will it be the same ie some transactions commited or sum uncomitted or ..
(B) It will give the status as per the latest SCN before 5:21 pm????
Thanks in advance

Dear Vivek,
When you go for Time based recovery, then oracle recovers all the transactions which are commited at that point of time.If any transaction is commited after that point then those transactions will be rolled back.
