I was told that there is about 40 databases and 3 oracle database for a company. It has been maitained by manage the databases individually. I want to know a strategy, or/and a tool to manage them with less effort.
Can someone give me some idea? thanks

sir, if i am having more then one databases on one machine, how can i specify a particular database to start on starting the instance.
i have tried it by giving the particular init.ora file with the start command.
i want to know whether the parameter is to be set at the o/s level.
please help me,
