We are having an issue installing Oralce 8i on a Windows XP Profession Sevice Pack 1 machine. We are getting the following error spx80.map(0): FILE_NOT_FOUND while mapping spx80. Any suggestions on how to get around this error?

I think you should read the readme file or installation requirements to find out if that platform is supported and what service packs need to be installed.
