Hi,

THe listener will let one connection thru then crash with this error:

Faulting application TNSLSNR.EXE, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module orantcp9.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00005732

I did google and askjeeves this question and the only solution presented did not fix my issue.

Can anyone help?  Anyone else seen this problem?

I loaded SP 2 last night and have the same error now.

Listener log has the listner turning on and has the connection then nothing else. The Event viewer has the fatal error and MS sends a bug report on the fault.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem than Dan.
Same OS, same SP, same Oracle version.

OK, I found in this page the solution :

http://www.orafaq.net/archive/comp.databases.oracle.server/2003/07/14/237658.htm

Update your registry with this variable:
Regedit --> HKey_Local_MachineSoftwareOracleHome0

Create new entry: USE_SHARED_SOCKET=TRUE

In my case, it works perfectly,
