For using Partitioning, you need to install Oracle Enterprise.
make sure that is activate on v$option
True means ok.

connect / as sysdba
select parameter,value from v$option
where parameter = 'Partitioning';

1st of all thanks for replying quickly....

i hav already checked these things.....
Oracle Enterprise is installed...but partitioning is disabled in v$option

Sorry fr the delay,
but as Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining are options, you need to have CD of Oracle Enterprise Edition - Production with the Partitioning.

Hi I have installed BIW3.0b which is perfectly working . But when the moment i configure infocubes which is giving error ORA-00439: Feature not enabled : partitioning error . If any body is there to solve the problem .
Database error 439 exe
OS : windows 2003
Database : oracle 8.1.7
