system table space corrupt [message #63005]

Hi ,All

i have a development server (oracle-8.1.7.4-suse-linux-8.2) , while veryfying datafiles with dbv i
have got 82 pages corrupt in system datafile

this is the output
Total Pages Examined : 64000
Total Pages Processed (Data) : 25038
Total Pages Failing (Data) : 0
Total Pages Processed (Index): 3988
Total Pages Failing (Index): 0
Total Pages Processed (Other): 805
Total Pages Empty : 34087
Total Pages Marked Corrupt : 82
Total Pages Influx : 0

is there any way to reapir the SYS tablespace , i am not able to access
any v$ , or any data dict tables

SQL> desc dba_extents;
ERROR:
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-08103: object no longer exists

is there any way to repair SYS tablespace

Hi,

I don't think you should try to repair it. Try to get your data out, and create a new database ASAP.

try running the catalog.sql and catproc.sql
