Hi,

I am using Oracle 9i (Enterprise Edition) on windows 2000.

I am having 3 databases running on machine. however unable to see those in Management Server. When I tried to refresh nodes discover nodes I was prompted for Machine name which I put as excel.flatdomain.com but I got error then I refreshed and gave IP address still got an error.

I restarted all the following services but still could not manage to add the database. Please suggest ( I am logging as 'sysman').

OracleOraHome90Agent
OracleOraHome90HTTPServer
OracleOraHome90ManagementServer
OracleOraHome90TNSListener
OracleServicedb2
OracleServicedb3
OracleServicedb9
OracleServiceOEMREP

Please suggest and help, I have tried this at least 15 times unsuccessfully.

Regards,

Pratap

hi Pratap,

You can try the following :

1. Verify the database for OMS (should have a separate DB).
2. Please verify if the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora have the respective SIDs.

Cheers
