Hi all, i need some info, when i look at the top , i get the following O/P. the process with PID 25777 is utilizing most of the CPU. i just want to relate to oracle using v$session,v$process and want to find out the session and the program, so that i can take necessary action. Can we find which program causing this if we r running it from Forms?

PID USERNAME PRI NICE  SIZE   RES STATE   TIME    CPU COMMAND
25777 prddb     44    0 2730M   13M run   129:42 80.20% oracle

thanx in advance.

Hi,

Look at this script:

TITLE: Lookup database details for a given Unix process id
URL: http://www.orafaq.com/scripts/performance/unixusr.txt

Best regards.
