by default templates should be stored in
$ORACLE_HOME/assistants/dbca/templates.
YOu can see .dbt files ( database templates) which are xml specifications.

hi,
can i store template on machine1 for database on machine2 to install database on machine3 using the template (created using dbca)
in two cases:
1)machine1 where template will be saved is having Oracle software installed
2)machine1 where template will be saved is not having Oracle software installed

Thanks
Regards,
Pratap
