Hi,

I've a problem with our database server, we've a DELL server with 1 GHz dual procesor and 2 GB of RAM.

The problem is that we've big data files per day "30 -- 50 GB". Herewith an example of our activity:

day     num. min of commits/h  num. max of commits/h Average/h

7/7      111.98                      3345.7                       2074.20

7/8      150.35                      3195.44                     2062.24

7/9      53.53                        3272.46                    2009.80

The question is, Could we somehow reduce our number of commir per day?, we have a Intranet with a 3-Tiers architecture and some Access applications. Our Intranet makes a lot a commits because is a transactional system that use DCOM components with ADO.

Thanks a lot in advance
