What is OUI and how can I use it (run it)

OUI = Oracle Universal Installer. It comes with every complete Oracle software package (not patches e.d.).

Here you find some basic info.

Hi,

OUI stands for Oracle Universal Installer, which is used to install/deinstall various oracle products. On windows u can simply run this from the option available in start menu and on Unix/Linux u have to run runInstaller script to run it. Mostly u can find this script at $ORACLE_BASE/oui dir.
