You have to copy the control files, datafiles & log files and init.ora files to the right locations and may be you'll need to recreate the Oracle service to get the database up and running.
Or
If you do not have the control files with you then you can recreate the control files.
Hope this helps.
Any corrections Gurus?

It seems correct.
Of course, to recreate control files you will have to know exactly all your datafiles names, and i think your charset also.
It is also recomended to add 'backup to trace' command
to add to your backup policy, that way will have a scritp to recreate your controlfiles (if lost)
Best luck!
