hi guys!

i am very new to oracle and working on my pc at home. so i dont hav any connection with the database. Can i create any local database on my pc itself and can I use it for trying sql commands.

or plz suggest some other way.

Yes , you can install standard edition or enterprise edition of oracle on your pc and then create one or more database,too.

hi Soham,

yes you can install an Oracle database on your system.
and also you have some GUI tools like the DBCA that somes with the oracle package.
this database is enought to test and learn too.
