Hi all,
I am using Oracle 9i server on windows 2000 professional. I have installed Oracle mananement server. However, while starting the service for Oracle Management Server I am facing followong error. I have checked Listener.ora,sqlnet.ora - both seems to be proper. can anybody guide me on this.
"could not start the OracleOrahome90ManagementServer Service on Local Computer. The Service did not return error. This could be an internal Windows error or an internal service error."
Also username/password sysman/oem_temp will have manement server field value as computername.domainname or IP addres of the computer where oracle server is running.
please suggest and Help
Thanks,
Pratap

Thanks jeevan,
It worked ( and works many times after) after i restarted OEMREP service 2-3 times.
Also i faced little trouble when setting credentials
for database, i set as "sysman/oem_rep"
for node "usename/password" with user having "log on as batch job" but is this a correct way?
one time it worked second time is gave error
i put username as
domainnameusername in username field
and for standalone machine at home
machinenameusername or username only.
please suggest
Thanks
Regards,
Pratap
