Hi Everyone,

I am running Oracle 9i on Sun Solaris platform.

I want to perform an export. At the command line I do something like:

exp 'sys/sys' parfile=export.par

I always get the message, must login as sysdba. So, I try:

exp 'sys/sys as sysdba' parfile=export.par

However, this does not work either ....

How can I perform anEXPORT using 'sys' username and sysdba privilege from the command line?

Thanks ... IA

User user SYSTEM. In Oracle9i user SYS can connect only as sysdba.
