My Temp tablespace has taken 11GB and it can not grow futher.I need to resize it.
I am using oracle 9i
I have tried creating another Temp tbs(made it default) , but nuable to delete the first one .Please suggest........

You can add more files to existing tablespace. Adding yet one temporary tablespace will not help because you must also set clause 'temporary tablespace' of users, which will work on this new tablespace to new tablespace.

Maybe you can identify the statement that obviously is temp space hungry. If that is possible, then you probably can streamline the statement such that it would require less temporary segments. That usually is the case in my experience.
But, if you really have to allocate more space to temp and is limited in physical space, you might want to identify oversized tablespaces and trim them down to free up some disk space.
