I have installed Oracle 9i and during the course of installation, "mydata" database was created, password was asked. The user id wasn't asked for.
when i m trying to login to mydata using sqlplus...it won't allow me to connect. Any guess...as to what could be the problem...

Hi,
You need to provide more info:
To what user are you trying to connect? (post the complete connect string)
Do you get any errors?
What version of Oracle are you running?
Etc...
