Hi,
I have these 2 statments:
1. Not recommended to use Operating System Authentication to authenticate DBAs in the database!!
2. Make sure to set REMOTE_LOGIN_PASWORD_FILE=NONE.
Setting this parameter to NONE causes Oracle to behave as if the password file does not exist. That is, no privileged connections are allowed over non-secure connections. NONE is the default value for this parameter.
But if OS Authentication is not recommended and Password file Authentication is not used: REMOTE_LOGIN_PASWORD_FILE=NONE
--[>] then what shall we use! What is then recommended??
Thank you for your help,
Patrick Tahiri.
