I hv a prblm with my 8i database. We hv installed on p4 machine long back. For the past 3 days we are getting prblm with the database. When we are trying to see, it is not showing any user. All of a sudden they are not found and prblm it is showing as OUTLN Schema and error is we are unable to export the data or do any transactions. we hv installed twice our database but the same problm is repeating now. I found the system.dbf file needs recovery as we r running in noarchivelog mode it is not able to recover the data eventhough we hv the redo entries but main file is corrupted as it is consisting of the dictionary information. Which is key to the database for up and running. Is it a O/S prblm (as we hv Win 2003) or database prblm kindly let me knw abt the reason and possible solution urgently
