will some one help me in accessing oracle's data on client machine from server.

My sever is working perfectly with oracle 8.0.5 on WINNT.
connect string is "dp_prd" sid=dtcs and server ip is 199.10.164.10

I have installed forms 6i on client ( os: win98)

And was trying to run "oracle net8 easy configuration" but was unable to do so , as it was giving error
"JRE has performed illegal operation"

so i had tried to modify tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files.
But was not succesful in doing so.

1.SO someone please tell me, where and what changes do i need to carry out.

2.Is there any link(website from where i can get thorough information about usage of above said ora files).

Pls help

Try to adjust manually network configuration - see how to do it in this forum(this question already was here).
