hi.............
sir i m connected through oracle server.
i creare a tablespace name c:raj.dbf but it is stored on
the server's hard disk.
i want to create it on my own hard disk.
how it possible .plz help me..................

Hi,
No, that is a bad idea.
Just think what will happen to the poor database if you reboot your PC. All data (and datafiles) need to be stored on a server where it will be safe and can be backed-up.
If you want to store data on your PC, you can always install Oracle and create a separate database on it.
