Hello,

Can anyone please help with the following...

When importing any dmp file I am getting the following errors...

IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 4068:
"BEGIN SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MIG.PRE_IMPORT; END;"
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 4068 encountered
ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded
ORA-04063: package body "SYS.DBMS_REPCAT_MIG" has errors
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
ORA-06512: at line 1
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully

(source and target databases aren't of same version (export from 8.1.6 and import to 9.2))

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

At first export a one table from 9.2.0, delete them and import again in 9.2.0 - to observe if error yet will apppear. Try to export/import only users, that have objects(not to perform full export/import). See if indicated package don't have errors. Try to reexecute a file catexp.sql in rdbms directory(9.2.0) - this file make objects, needed for export/import.
