hi...
i have installed oracle 9i. it was perfectly working. but after some days when i was sitting on my pc i got the error "oracle not found". then i have checked the service. the service was missing. i go the command prompt to create the service through oradim. but oradim is also not found. then i created a new database through DBCA. it was properly working. but now also oradim is not working. suggest me what to do in this situation.

Hi,
What do you mean "oradim" is not found? Look in your ORACLE_HOMEbin directory (or do a find on you disk to locate it). Is ORACLE_HOMEbin included in your PATH?
C:> echo %PATH%
c:oracleora920bin;C:Program FilesOraclejre1.3.1bin;...
