Hi,
i'm krishna , Oracle DBA at packetware , india . need help regarding an urgent issue .
we have applications in C++ which need the following oracle oci support files :
ocidfn.h
oci1.h
ocioro.h
ociori.h
<DIV>ociorl.h
<DIV>ociort.h
ociapr.h
ociap.h
oci8dp.h
ociextp.h
nzt.h
nzerror.h
these files are missing in oracle 8.1.7 and oracle 9.2.0 release 2 on sun sparc
solaris 5.7 and 5.8 .
we are in a big mess as our applications can't compile without these files.
but these files are there in oracle 8.1.7 on intel linux .
i want to know why these files are missing in sun sparc oracle systems , when they
are pretty much there in linux systems.
its an urgent issue which needs immediate resolution , please help

Hi,
If I remember correctly, you need to install Oracle
Programmer (or programmatic interfaces) for these
files to be available.
Try to start the installer from the Server
Installation CDs. Then, choose the appropriate
install type.
