What have they changed the svrmgrl command to in Oracle 9i for Solaris 8? I cant seem to find anything similar in the bin directory.

svrmgrl is OBSOLETE in 9i.
so is the INTERNAL account.
u need to login SYS as SYSDBA

Just more details

sqlplus /nolog
SQL>
connect /as sysdba

Now you can use the same commands as in svrmgrl

This also works ion Oracle 8i.

what is subtitution of svrmgrl in oracle 9i.
i need to configure my tns, when every i try to start oracle i get following error
ora-1250: TNS:PROTOCOL ADAPTER ERROR
TELL ME WHAT IS THE SOLUTION
