I have a performance problem when we use a HP 9000 server, and install oracle server database 9i for HP-UX the system is very slow.
We have the same database on Sun Sparc, Solaris OS, and it works well

Ahmed,
the information you provided is not sufficient enough to diagnose. When you copied the database( through exp/imp ) from Sun->HP, was the block size changed ? Filesystem/Kernel page cache/Raw devices changed ? Number of disk spindles/RAID level/stripe changed ?
Init.ora parameters changed ?
Semaphores/Shared memory/max_io size changed ?
CPU (number,speed)/Virtual memory changed ?
Network architecture/interface capabilities changed ?
etc etc.. there are so many variables.
