hi all,

Yesterday my oracle9i server was left running at night, it was doing a bulk insert operation, unfortunately, my PC was accidentally dispowered.

Now when I am trying to do a startup in sqlplus, it gives me following error messages:

ORA-16038: log 2 sequence 9 cannot be archived
ORA-19504: failed to create file ""
ORA-00312: online log 2 thread 1: 'D:ORACLEORADATAMORAREDO02.LOG'

Any hints to recover my database? Thank you in advance.

Make sure your filesystem identified by LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST has sufficient free space for the Archiver to archive the online redolog files. It may be 100% used.
