How release Temporary Space??? [message #58614]

I have production Database. In the Temporary Tablespace Its shows aprox. 58 MB space is used and approx 20 mb is free.

Total Free
Tablespace Space [[MB]] Space [[MB]] Free %
---------- ---------- --------- --------
TEMP 78.63 20.81 26.47

How can i release the used space.
There is no sorting operation is going on the Database.This is the listing from DBA_EXTENTS

The sort extents are not de-allocated while the instance is running, but are marked as free and can be re-used as required.
so there is NO need to free the space ( as long as the tablespace is defined as temp temporary tablespace).
if you insist, toggle the database.

Mahesh,I am sure you meant 'toggle the tablespace' and not 'toggle the database' ie make the TEMP tablespace PERMANENT and back again to 'TEMPORARY'.
