i need help with the following problem;
i have a win2000 server running oracle 8.1.7.
the database contains 3 instances (odb, otb and oub).
on the oub i get the error msg 'ora-03114 No conn...' after about 5 min. inactivity. this occurs both client and server.
this only happends for oub and not for the odb and otb.

the db has been running for about 3 years and only now has the problem turned up.

i have checked the parameters for timeouts, but found none.

pls help.

the network is stable and there has been no major changes lately.
the 'funny' thing about the error is that only the oub is concerned, where as the other 2 odb and otb does not have the problem. and that the error can be found on bothe clients and server.
