Hi everyone,
I'm currently in the process of upgrading our Oracle Forms application from version 6i to 12c, and I’ve run into a few challenges. I was hoping to get some advice from anyone who’s gone through a similar upgrade.
Performance Issues: After migrating some of our forms, we noticed a significant drop in performance during data entry and form navigation. Has anyone experienced similar performance lags post-upgrade, and if so, how did you address them?
Triggers and PL/SQL Code: We have quite a few PL/SQL triggers that are no longer working as expected. Are there any common changes to the way triggers need to be handled in 12c that could explain this?
UI Customization: The user interface looks different after the upgrade, and we’re looking to make it more consistent with modern web applications. Does anyone have suggestions or resources on how to best modernize the UI in 12c while keeping the core functionality?
