This site is a complicated mix of different software stacks, including a forum, content management system and a wiki.
Unfortunately, this is becoming too troublesome to manage, and the visitor numbers are dwindling, which makes it necessary
to simplify and consolidate the site into fewer components.

To start this process, a new forum called News & Blogs was created, which can also be accessed from the top menu. Replies to
blog posts will be rendered as comments.

/forum/fa/14727/0/

Users are requested to please move all their blog posts to this forum. This section will (within a couple of months)
become the new home page of OraFAQ.

Interesting, I will now be able to read the blogs I didn't before reading only wiki and forum parts.

I think you could add some filter for the "Most viewed" section, for instance:
  • the first topic (from 2010) is in a sub-forum that has an overall of 124 posts
  • the second one ("OS/390 2.10 with Oracle 7.3.3 and TNS client error") is from 2002 and no more interesting
  • the third one (password file "pwd got corrupted") is also from 2002 but is still useful
  • lower, "Best Institute In Oracle Applications In Hyderabad" is just a stack of "mine is the best one"
In the section "Recent Post" maybe a "distinct" on the query: currently out of the ten posts we have four "Re: Is MOS down?".
Maybe a "Recently updated topic" instead of "Recent post" section?

OK, I've applied some changes and tuned the SQL a bit.
Hope it looks better now.

PS: Unfortunately I'm not much of a designer, but the interface can also be tuned if necessary.
