I had the database 12C installed on a separate internal hard drive and it crashed.
I had to replace the hard drive.
When I try to reinstall the database 12C, I click on the setup to run as administrator,
something comes up on the screen for less than 1 second and nothing happens and the setup does not continue.

Is this just the database or the database and the Oracle install directory in the lost drive?

It was the Oracle install directory and the hard drive crashed completely and I was not able to recover it.
I had to replace the hard drive and create a new Oracle install directory.
When I unzipped the Oracle database on the new hard drive in a new Oracle home and tried to install the database under administrator access,
the screen flashes for less than a second and nothing gets installed.

I ran the setup.exe thru a bat file to see if any error came up.

Here is the error that came up:

C:\Windows\system32>pause check for error message
