Dear Member,
I have a new Windows 10 laptop where the Forms 6i was working fine until I did Forms 10g installation after which the forms builder 6i doesn't open and shows as Not responding while 10g version is working fine.
Has anyone have a solution for this issue.
Thanks
Raj

Others may be able to give you better advice, but my own experience with the products you are trying to use suggests that it will be very VERY difficult.
Forms 6i is over 20 years old, it was not designed to work with 64bit operating systems, it does not use the Windows 10 registry properly. Forms 10g is also pretty ancient. You are going to have numerous issues with 32 bit and 64 bit interoperability. Also issues with registry variable settings that will work for one product but break the other, which is probably why installing 10g broke 6i.
So what to do? Well, speaking as a scientist I do not believe in luck. But if you really want to get both products working on one modern PC, I think luck is what you will need. Surely you can avoid the need to do this?
