Hi all:

Does anyone know what is it that I am doing that a tab in subject keeps opening from time to time when I click on the objects in the Connections pane tree?
Its contents are always the same as below:

Source Connection :localhost:1521:orcl : TESTDB
Target Connection :localhost:1521:orcl : TESTDB
Source and Destination connections are same.

I have a suspicion that I am trying to drag something without noticing it but I do not know for sure.

No idea, but - you could / should upgrade to most recent SQL Developer version (currently, 20.2).
