hi all,
i have one doubt regarding the sqlarea.
Actually what does the STATS$SQLTEXT contains. B'cos it is present in my TOOLS tablespace and it keeps on growing, giving spacebound problems. There are abt 6 lakh records in it. What data does it contain? Shall i delete some of the rows in it, so that some of space can be freed in tablespace. Plz give all the possible solutions. as it is very urgent.

Waiting for ur replies.

This table created by "STATSPACK" which is owned by
schema "PERFSTAT". In order to purge the statspack repository , you have to run the following script

<ORACLE_HOME>/rdbms/admin/sppurge.sql
