i installed the oracle 8i server in machine for testing in the same machine i installed diffrent drive oracle9i client but when i tried to access the 8i database its not working previously its working fine.so i unistalled the client but i got the message the controlfiel is corrupted what may be the reason the control file is there idid'nt done any damge to it
shall i install the cleint 9i in 8i server
one more thing can i install oracle 9.2.0.1 client to accesss the oracle 9.0.11 server
